Best Practice Visit- Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) (Annual Gathering)
December 2nd & 3rd @ 9am-5pm

• The environment and local community being at the heart of
organisational culture – robust evaluation and self-assessment
• Leading and not following others. Setting the pace and making
bold decisions
• An opportunity to share best practice and benchmark against
other organisations
• Building a framework of best practices
• Understanding the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
What do our local communities actually need from us –
research and engagement before action
• Collaborative projects and sharing technology
• Emerging legislation and the likely consequences

Costs:
To facilitate the visits, there will be an investment per participant of
£600.00 (per Best Practice Group). Payments are to be made to The
LDC during 2025 to cover participant involvement. Each member
organisation will be required to sign an agreement with The LDC to
commit employees to the 2025 process. This agreement commits The
LDC and its member organisations to work in partnership and deliver
some positive outcomes through our Best Practice Groups.
Should a BPG visit be at Nissan, this will incur an additional charge of £250.00 per person.
