DESCRIPTION:Best Practice Visit – Apprenticeships \nFebruary 5th @ 9am – 5pm \nKey areas of discussion and implementation:\n• Building the business case for the employment of apprentices\n• Designing the strategy for the employment of apprentices\n• Key skills for the future\n• Attracting talent – building the employers brand\n• The selection process – predicting success\n• Effective onboarding\n• The training and development experience\n• Building relationships with colleges and providers\n• Mentors and internal champions\n• Personal and leadership development\n• Tracking the return on investment \nBPG Lead: Mick Hope\, Ardagh Glass Doncaster \n  \nCosts:\nTo facilitate the visits\, there will be an investment per participant\nof £600.00 (per Best Practice Group). Payments are to be made to\nThe LDC during 2025 to cover participant involvement. Each\nmember organisation will be required to sign an agreement with\nThe LDC to commit employees to the 2025 process. This\nagreement commits The LDC and its member organisations to\nwork in partnership and deliver some positive outcomes through\nour Best Practice Groups. \nShould a BPG visit be at Nissan\, this will incur an additional charge of £250.00 per person.
