DESCRIPTION:Best Practice Visit- Environmental and Social Sustainability \nMarch 18th @ 9am-5pm \nKey areas of discussion and implementation:\n• The environment and local community being at the heart of\norganisational culture – robust evaluation and self-assessment\n• Leading and not following others. Setting the pace and making\nbold decisions\n• An opportunity to share best practice and benchmark against\nother organisations\n• Building a framework of best practices\n• Understanding the needs and expectations of stakeholders.\nWhat do our local communities actually need from us –\nresearch and engagement before action\n• Collaborative projects and sharing technology\n• Emerging legislation and the likely consequences \nBPG Lead: Dr Andy Brookes\, University of Lincoln \nCosts:\nTo facilitate the visits\, there will be an investment per participant of\n£600.00 (per Best Practice Group). Payments are to be made to The\nLDC during 2025 to cover participant involvement. Each member\norganisation will be required to sign an agreement with The LDC to\ncommit employees to the 2025 process. This agreement commits The\nLDC and its member organisations to work in partnership and deliver\nsome positive outcomes through our Best Practice Groups. \nShould a BPG visit be at Nissan\, this will incur an additional charge of £250.00 per person.
