DESCRIPTION:Best Practice Visit- Safety in the Workplace \nMarch 27th @ 9am-5pm \nKey areas of discussion and implementation:\n• Process\, policies\, and procedures\n• Creating a positive safety culture\n• Safety and effective onboarding\n• Safety champions and safety representatives\n• Safety audits\n• Ergonomics/Musculosketal\n• Manual handling\n• Effective training and development\n• Behaviour and human error\n• Reward and recognition \nBPG Lead: Colin Adderley\, LDC Delivery Team \nCosts:\nTo facilitate the visits\, there will be an investment per participant of\n£600.00 (per Best Practice Group). Payments are to be made to The\nLDC during 2025 to cover participant involvement. Each member\norganisation will be required to sign an agreement with The LDC to\ncommit employees to the 2025 process. This agreement commits The\nLDC and its member organisations to work in partnership and deliver\nsome positive outcomes through our Best Practice Groups. \nShould a BPG visit be at Nissan\, this will incur an additional charge of £250.00 per person.
