DESCRIPTION:Our BPG will focus on the opportunity to build strategic and sustainable partnerships with customers and suppliers. Measuring success and return on investment will be a key feature of our work. \nA robust evaluation of current relationships with customers and suppliers. Identifying a best practice framework for this evaluation.\n• Building a model of best practice through our benchmarking visits\, research activities and collaborative projects.\n• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities with suppliers and customers.\n• Effective communication and internal development around customer and supplier relationships. ‘Paying attention’ to these important areas.\n• Opportunity to invite customers and suppliers to our benchmarking visits\n• Building ‘Big’ relationships – trust\, transparency and upholding the psychological contract.\n• Kaizen events with customers and suppliers \nBPG Lead: Colin Roe\, Director of Operations at Powell (UK) and a member of the LDC Leadership Group.
