The team from Nissan will share their strategy around supplier\npartnerships\, best practice methodologies and creating sustainable relationships. \nThe day visit covers a range of areas and is a building block for further research and implementation of new ideas: \n• Recruitment Centre which allows us to observe the selection\nprocess for manufacturing staff\n• Standard Operating Procedures\n• Continuous Improvement – tools & techniques\n• The Kaizen process\n• Role of the supervisor – including a visit to a supervisors zone\n• Shift Changeover \n• Approach to training – including the assessment of competency\n• Safety Dojo – an interactive training method around the 10 safety\nbehaviours at Nissan\n• The training and development infrastructure\n• Cascading of objectives\n• Audit process\n• The Cultural Journey \nThe LDC will offer this pilot experience but with the ambition to build a best practice community around customer and supplier\npartnerships.
