Our leadership research project in partnership with Durham University Business School.

This partnership between Durham University Business School and the LDC brings together academic research and organisational practice to better understand how leadership behaviours shape organisational culture.

A particular focus of the research is humble leadership and the role of humble leadership behaviours in creating positive workplace cultures. By working with organisations across the LDC community, the project aims to generate practical, evidence based insights that support leadership development while contributing to research with direct relevance to organisation practice.

We have already delivered a number of briefing sessions but these will continue over the coming months. We expect the survey process to start in October.

There is an additional opportunity for LDC members – a daily leadership diary study. The purpose of this process is to understand how everyday leadership behaviours influence daily workplace experiences.

Participants complete one base line survey (8-10 minutes) long and two very short online surveys for 10 consecutive days.

We are very lucky to have this partnership with Durham University Business School and these two research projects will provide valuable insights into effective leadership in the workplace. A big thank you to Emilia Nazarewicz for her support and guidance .

A community of ambitious organisations learning and improving together.
