Best Practice Workshop – Safety in the workplace

A best practice workshop around the management and leadership of safety in the workplace. The opportunity to observe best practice at Ardagh Glass, Knottingley. This workshop provides additional support and resources beyond our monthly drop in sessions.

Content:

• Site tour to include a practical observation of best practice at Ardagh Knottingley. Constructive feedback to the leadership team at Knottingley
• Latest thinking and research round safety in the workplace
• Beginning to build a collaborative model of best practice
• Reinforcement of safety during the onboarding process for new employees
• The role of the first line leader in managing safety in the workplace
• Priorities and activities for 2022

Outcomes:

• Continuing to improve safety performance for each organisation within the LDC
• Generation of improvement ideas and the support to implement these ideas
• A real sense of community – resources and support available
• Sharing success stories
