Our Building for the future programme – identifying and developing talent at an early stage.
A 12 month development experience leading to a positive outcome for the individual and sponsoring organisation. Our programme identifies and develops individuals who have demonstrated future ambition and want to invest in themselves.
Programme Content:
Personal development plan-design and implementation
Working with the concept of excellence
Receiving feedback from others
Time management & personal effectiveness
How an organisation is designed and drivers for organisational effectiveness
Commercial & financial understanding
People skills & HR
Bench marking visits
Leading a continuous improvement task/initiative- achievable in nature
Continuous improvement – tools & techniques
Input on leadership -written assignment to complete
Presentation skills – including support around the end of programme presentation
Programme Delivery:
A series of workshops throughout the year – both online & face to face
Coaching support from the LDC delivery team
Benchmarking visits to the organisations involved in the programme
Coaching support from Programme Lead (LDC)
Organisational leaders as guest speakers
Access to learning & research material
Support with “End of Programme Presentation”
One activity/event per month – 2 hours up to a maximum of two days
Programme Outcomes – for the sponsoring organisation:
Improved performance and contribution from the participant
Greater predictability in terms of future potential (of the individual)
Measured improvement from the continuous improvement project
Improved employee engagement and discretionary effort
Retention of talented employees
