The Process and anticipated activities
At this stage the forum runs on a UK wide basis and is aimed at CI specialists in our member organisations.
The forum involves the following elements:
- The forum normally meets 4 times per annum
- Access to research material around CI
- Bench-marking visits ( working closely with the Nissan car plant )
- UK Best Factory Awards as a reference point ( Awards through Cranfield University )
- Sharing success stories
- Organisational support from the LDC
- Building a model of best practice – employee engagement & CI
- Efficient sharing of resources
- Short masterclasses agreed by the forum members
