Developing your skills to become an effective trainer

Many employees undertake a training role without being offered any training and development
themselves. The training of others requires a specific range of skills and competencies. Our Train The
Trainer Development Forum will be supported by input from Nissan Manufacturing UK (Sunderland
plant)

Key Features of the Programme

  1. 12 month project – commencing in January 2019
  2. A blend of individual support/coaching, bench-marking visits and workshops
  3. Developing a community of best practice – sharing ideas and resources
  4. Promoting the value of training champions in the workplace
  5. Focus on the evaluation of training & development – building the business case
  6. A small cluster of consortium organisations forming the best practice community
  7. Each organisation to sponsor 3 employees on the programme

  2. The Training Cycle
  3. How people develop skills and knowledge in different ways
  4. Designing a training intervention
  5. Coaching & training on a one to one basis
  6. Assessing competency – post the training intervention
  7. On line learning and production of video based training material
  8. The concept of blended learning
  9. Developing your role as a training champion
  10. Training and support for new employees
  11. Evaluation models and methodologies – the ROI
  12. Bench-marking visit to Nissan ( and other organisations )

Costs/Payments

The cost for each participant will be £1100.00. We shall require a deposit of £250.00 per person before the programme starts in January 2019. The remaining costs can be paid over the remaining 11 months ( payment
process to be confirmed )
